Parc de la Cuitadella
One of the main things to see in Barcelona is the Sagrada Familia which is a huuuge Roman Catholic Church, the ques to go in are generally blocks long so most people just see the outside but I can't recommend enough to see out the que and go in because it's mind blowing. You can't get the extent of how big and grand it is until you're stood inside, it's just unbelievable. I think it's around 15 euros to gain entry and a little bit more to go up the tower but the tower was closed on the day we went unfortunately.
We also visited Park Guell which was designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi which is one of the main highlights of Gaudi's work in Barcelona. He also designed La Pedrera and for the time we spent in that que we were so disappointed when we were in. The roof top was quirky but the interior was nothing special and it felt like a waste of time therefore if the que is long I wouldn't say it's worth it.
Park Guell
The Gothic Quarter stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana and is worth a visit as it's right in the heart of Barcelona. La Rambla is worth the walk down either on a night or throughout the day as it is usually bustling with tourists and little stalls. To see the rest of Barcelona we got a hop on hop off bus tour and stayed on for a few hours taking in the city views.
MUST TRY: The hot chocolate...it's literally like melted chocolate in a cup, heaven.
